Privacy policy · Effective July 27, 2026

How Synapse handles your data.

Synapse is an AI support platform operated by LBP (lbp.dev). This policy explains what data Synapse collects, how it is used, how it is stored, and the choices you have — including the Google user data Synapse accesses when you connect your Google account.

1. Who we are

Synapse is a product operated by LBP, reachable at lbp.dev. For any privacy question or request, email hello@lbp.dev.

2. What we collect

3. Google user data

When you connect your Google account, Synapse requests the following access. It is used only to provide Synapse's user-facing features.

Synapse's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: Google user data is used only to provide and improve Synapse's user-facing features; it is never sold; it is never transferred to third parties except infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service; it is never used for advertising; and it is not read by humans except with your affirmative consent, for security or abuse investigation, or to comply with applicable law.

4. Storage and retention

Google user data and knowledge content are stored on Synapse's servers, including derived text embeddings used for search. Data is kept until you disconnect the integration or request deletion. Conversation data is retained according to your workspace settings.

5. Sharing and subprocessors

Synapse never sells your data. To operate the service, content may be processed by: the model provider your workspace is configured with (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or a local Ollama deployment) under zero-retention, no-training terms; infrastructure providers that host the service; and channel providers such as Twilio and Meta, which carry the messages you choose to route through them.

6. Revocation and deletion

You can disconnect your Google account anytime from Synapse settings, or from your Google account's security and permissions page. To request deletion of your data, email hello@lbp.dev — deletion is completed within 30 days.

7. Security

Connected accounts are accessed through OAuth tokens — Synapse never sees your Google password. Data is encrypted in transit.

8. Changes to this policy

Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes are announced to workspace owners by email.
